Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Christopher Newport University, a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University, and is currently completing a Master of Science in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University with an anticipated graduation of May 2024.
Upon graduation, Ashley plans to pursue counseling licensure and hopes to partner alongside public school systems to provide strengths-based, trauma-informed care to children and teens.
Currently, Ashley’s clinical work focuses on providing support to children, teens, and young adults experiencing complicated bereavement and traumatic grief. Ashley also works with youth in public schools and facilitates grief support groups within the Richmond Public Schools system.
In the community, Ashley serves at Hill City Church where she works with middle school girls. In her free time, Ashley enjoys reading and getting lost in bookstores, chasing sunsets, catching a matinee movie, and spending time at her Granny’s house.
