Casey Kelahan is currently in her final year in the clinical track of the Master of Social Work program at Virginia Commonwealth University. As an aspiring LCSW and grief counselor, she is thrilled to be at Full Circle working with both the Perinatal Loss Group and individual clients.

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from McDaniel College in Environmental Studies and Spanish, Casey worked for several years as an environmental educator and trip leader for both elementary school and college-age student groups in the U.S. and abroad. During this time, she came to appreciate the power of the group experience, mutual support, and connection to nature, all of which are elements she hopes to integrate into her work with clients. A believer in the importance of movement, Casey is also particularly interested in the intersection of grief and the body.

In her free time, Casey enjoys exploring the trails and parks around Richmond and beyond, experimenting with baking, discovering new poetry, investigating the local music scene and attending local trivia nights with friends.
